"ocated in Bepelle (Quarter III), about 500 m behind BOCOM Ndobo, Bonaberi, off National Road No. 3 and adjacent to the Brasseries du Cameroun Stores Department (formerly SIAC brewery). The parish was established in 1990 by Bishop Thomas Nkuissi of Nkongsamba to serve the Anglophone community of Bonaberi. It was formally erected on 12 September 1997 by Christian Wiyghan Cardinal Tumi, then Archbishop of Douala, who placed it under the patronage of St Joseph the Worker, with the feast day celebrated on 1 May. Rev. Fr Anselm Kentus Eke (MSP) was appointed as the first parish priest, and since then the parish has been administered by priests from the Missionary Society of St Paul (MSP), Abuja–Nigeria. Successive pastors have included Rev. Frs Romanus Obiora, William Egedegbe, Christian Achinivu, Linus Abang, Alphonse Mario, and Agi Livinus (PhD)."
